Course Description

The #MeToo movement has gained lots of media attention and is still actively discussed in today’s society. While the movement has caused some extreme reaction such as some men reacting “I just won’t hire women” the truth is we all need to determine positive ways to work together. There have been many wrongs and it’s left a workplace where many colleagues are on pins and needles. In this course we’ll cover professional interaction and workplace awareness to create a more positive environment and also manage legal risk.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the underpinnings of the #MeToo Movement.

  • Understand some of the risks and warning signs of potential claims.

  • Determine what issues might exist in your workplace.

  • Establish your next steps for professional interactions and workplace awareness.
